Terroir: Favorable factors such as the Mediterranean climate, a 5-month dry summer with an average temperature of 20ºC (68ºF), sufficient rainfall of 700 mm (28 in) and well-drained alluvial soils make Curicó viticulturally ideal, especially for the classic grape varietals of Bordeaux.
