What is Champagne?
Champagne is a superior sparkling wine produced exclusively in the Champagne region of France under strict guidelines and regulations of the Comité Interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne, from the choice of grapes to the methodology (Méthode Champenoise) that Champagne producers must follow in order to have the word “Champagne” on the label of their products.
Synopsis Winery has been producing premium quality wines under its namesake on our century old vineyard located in the famous wine country of Curico, Chile. As the brand continues to gain international acclaim, we venture into Champagne to enhance our product range as well as the prestige of our name. Collaborating with Vincent Leglantier and Marquis de Pomereuil, 2 top quality boutique Champagne producers who are also vineyard owners with many generations of experience in Champagne, Synopsis Winery has launched SYN Champagne Brut and SYN Champagne Rosé internationally in the fall of 2018.
SYN Champagne exemplifies a lifestyle that is both sophisitcated and contemporary: a reflection of engery, luxury and sexiness. The bottles feature several of the greatest capitols of the world as a tribute to human achievements. In the glass, fine bubbles rise continuously like fireworks at a celebration, followed by rich and enticing aromas intriguing the nose. On the palate, the wine is extremely well balanced between a firm level of acidity and residual sugar, yet it still leans towards the dry side, which is desirable for its refreshing taste all the way to the prolonged finish.
SYN Champagne Brut:
COMPOSITION: Pinot Noir 35%, Meunier 40%, Chardonnay 25%
VOL: 75 CL
TASTING NOTES: A brilliant yellow-gold color describes this Champagne with a very fine, profuse and sustained mousse. The nose is characterized by aromas of ripe green fruit and citrus, leading to tastes of white fruit with tropical floral notes on the palate. Very well balanced by excellent acidity, the wine gives way to a satisfying prolonged finish.
SYN Champagne Rosé:
COMPOSITION: Pinot Noir 100%
VOL: 75 CL
TASTING NOTES: This Champagne exhibits the deep bright red color of a velvety rose petal, with a very fine and persistent mousse. The nose is characterized by small red berries, mainly currant. On the palate the wine is robust yet well balanced. An elegantly fresh and fruity wine with well-integrated tannins and a hint of spice rounds out to the lengthy finish.
